Where is TEA SENSE tea sourced from?
We source all our teas directly from the finest tea estates across Darjeeling, the Darjeeling foothills, and Assam to ensure you get the most authentic and fresh cup possible.

What is blending, and why do you blend your teas?
Because tea is an agricultural crop, every garden produces leaves with unique characteristics—some are highly aromatic, while others have a stronger, brisker flavour. Our expert tea tasters carefully mix (blend) these different top-quality batches to give you a perfectly balanced, consistent cup of tea throughout the year.

Do you use artificial flavours or scents in your tea?
Not at all. In the old days, scents were added to mask stale tea during long sea voyages. Today, our teas are shipped fresh directly from the plantations. We rely entirely on real ingredients and pure tea leaves—absolutely no artificial essences or chemical perfumes.

How long will it take to dispatch my order?
We take pride in shipping fresh teas! For 90% of our orders, we dispatch within 48 hours. Occasionally, if we are waiting on a fresh harvest or curating a new batch, it might take up to 5 days. Trust us, it is worth the wait for the freshest brew!
What packaging sizes do you offer?
For our daily Kadak Chai (CTC), we offer 200g, 400g, and 800g family packs (with great discounts on larger packs!). For our premium Orthodox, Green, White, and Herbal teas, we offer 25g, 50g, and 100g sizes. We also have convenient 15-piece pyramid tea bag boxes for different blends.

What are the shipping charges across India?
Prepaid orders above ₹399 are shipped absolutely FREE! For smaller orders, a nominal shipping fee of ₹50 to ₹100 is applied at checkout. Please note that Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will incur a small additional handling charge.
How should I store my tea at home?
Tea stays best when kept away from moisture, strong kitchen smells, and direct sunlight. Once you open our vacuum-sealed pouch, immediately transfer the leaves into the provided zip-lock bag or a light-tight ceramic or metal container to lock in the freshness.
Does tea expire?
Tea doesn't technically spoil or 'expire', but it does slowly lose its freshness, aroma, and flavour over time. We highly recommend consuming your tea within 12 months of purchase for the absolute best experience.
How do I make the perfect cup of tea?
Every tea is unique! You will find specific brewing instructions (water temperature and steeping time) on our online brewing guide. We also include a handy recipe card right inside your retail box. Got a special recipe of your own? We would love for you to share it with us!

Can I use multiple discount codes on one order?
You can only use one discount code per order. Promotional codes cannot be combined with loyalty rewards or other ongoing discounts.
