Hibiscus Flower Tea, made from dried parts of the hibiscus plant, is deep red in color. It has sweet and tart flavors, similar to a cranberry, and maybe consumed hot or iced. People around the world use various parts of the plant as food and medicine. The part of the hibiscus plant that protects and supports the flower is called the calyx. The dried calyces are used to make hibiscus tea. Hibiscus Tea is used to decrease body temperature, treat heart disease, and soothe a sore throat, and recent studies show it helps reduce high blood pressure.

WATER: 1 cup (150 ml)
WATER TEMPERATURE: Hot Water
STEEP TIME: 4-5 mins
